Concerned Black Men works to create an America where:


  • Every child has in his or her life a responsible, caring adult;  
  • After-school and summer enrichment programs are available for all young people, not just for children and the wealthy;
  • Youth are empowered to change their lives by receiving appropriate and accurate information on health, social and community issues;  
  • Quality public education is our Nation's highest priority;  
  • Teenage parents are the exception and not the norm. 

Concerned Black Men accomplishes its mission through the implementation of "best practices" programs at the national level and special projects and initiatives by its chapters throughout the country on the local level:

Check back soon for information about other efforts included with CBM's Young Males of Color Initiatives which include the 2025 Campaign for Black Boys and Men and the CBM Cares National Mentoring Program. This work represents CBM's future strategy to stem the tide of violence, incarceration and low achievement among Black boys and young men.
