Washington DC---Concerned Black Men was honored to be invited to the White House in recognition of National Mentoring Month where the President and First Lady both talked about the importance of being a mentor and the positive impact it can have on a child’s life.  The event highlighted the First Lady’s girls mentoring program and was the kick off for the boys mentoring program.

Concerned Black Men continues to be a driving force in the mentoring community, always striving to fill the void and place positive role models in the lives of young boys in communities across the country.
